The Lowe family picnic in 2000 was hosted on June 24, 2000 at Bronte Provincial Park by Eunice Sheffield and Doreen Davis. There was a large turnout and it was a very nice day until we were cut a little short around 6:30 pm by a sudden rain shower.
All branches of the family were well represented including our relatives who live in the United States.
Again, some of us who love punishment waited out the rain and golfed on Sunday. Even though Fred Berryhill brought his own clubs this year and did not have to use a rental set, he could not fend off the strong play of Reg Sheffield who proved to be the best golfer on that day. We're already looking forward to this event next year.
