The Lowe picnic 2007 was held on June 23rd at Earl Row Provincial Park in Alliston. 55 people were in
attendance this year, which was fantastic and the most we've had in recent memory. It's been a long time since we've broken the 50 barrier.
Andre Wulckow, his partner Mandy, Reg Sheffield and his partner Julia hosted the event and did a great job at keeping everyone active and participating in various events.
A couple of highlights of the day were:
the re-emergence of twins Richard & Robert after several years of absence and meeting Robert's lovely family
meeting more of Mandy's family for the first time
the attendance of Jasmine Lowe (Sheffield) who had just been released from a rehab centre in Toronto after suffering a stroke in April, and witnessing her almost win the memory game
the re-emergence of Chris Davis, Irene and their children
It is important that all of us continue to make the effort and attend these events.
